Fighter movie trailer was a good one.But,the movie is well above and beyond it.Directed by Siddharth Anand,it is a Hindi Language action film.It brings together a pair that we all have been dying to watch-Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.And it worked.It has a compelling narrative that makes you sit in the theatre till the end. The story might not be an extraordinary one but,it is a decent one.You will not be bored in the theatres that’s for sure. With good acting performances,it is a good watch for sure.The characters are well-developed and have depth.They have a bond that warms your heart as you watch them.

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone together have great chemistry that you would enjoy.Hrithik Roshan has done great. His eyes speak volumes since the air force officers need to be strong and disciplined most of the time.He has the looks and is looking like an Air Force officer.Deepika Padukone also is a perfect choice for playing the role of an Air Force officer.Anil Kapoor as the Commanding Officer looks apt for playing the role.
One actor who deserves praise is Karan Singh Grover. He is the best friend that takes your heart with his charm,humour and loyalty. A fierce Air Force officer,his chemistry with Hrithik Roshan is another thing to watch out for.Akshay Oberoi is another actor whose role has been crucial in the movie.And he has done a good job in it.
Aerial Action

Fighter Movie Review cannot be complete without talking about the aerial action. The way the aerial action has been shown is brilliant. The fights between the fighter planes are worth watching. The movie has taken the action one step further in the Indian Cinema.It was genuinely captivating to watch.It’s a welcome change from what you might be bored or used to watch in every second movie.
Misses
Abrupt scene changes

The movie in some places shifted to another scene abruptly.You are watching a movie in a flow and suddenly out of the blue, a song starts. One was Sher Khul Gaye. The build-up to the songs is missing in the songs.Out of the blue,the songs just pop out in front of the audience. There is a lack of transition in the scenes at times.
Average Music

To be honest the songs are average throughout the movie. From Heer Asmani to Sher Khul Gaye,these songs do not add a wow factor to the film.Despite Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone having great chemistry,these songs still are not those you might be interested to see. You would like to just fast forward the songs through the movie. The audience is not happy with the fact a song was in the overseas release but was not in the Indian release.
Background score

The kind of background score Siddharth Anand is known for is missing in the movie.Especially after Pathaan,the stakes are higher and you expect more.But,it is only Vande Matram’s background score that stays with you.Others are average throughout the movie.
Overall,it is a movie worth spending money on.It will surprise you with its action and performances for sure.
