The fans tried to save the show through their trend “Extend Katha Ankahee”. But,when it was not possible they even demanded a second season through their trend “Bring Team Katha Ankahee Back”. They showered lots of love as the season ends

No show gets so much love without a strong storyline.Katha Ankahee was an adaptation of a Turkish show “1001 nights” and it can be considered as one of the best Hindi adaptations of a show on Indian Television.The storyline was backed by awesome writing and strong characters.

Team Katha Ankahee was full of performers. Aditi Dev Verma, who played Katha did a fabulous job. Her emotional range was brilliant. She was loved by the fans for her portrayal of a single mother. Adnan Khan as Viaan Raghuvanshi too has been a winner. He won the hearts of the fans through his journey from an arrogant and rude businessman to a cute and lovesick Katha’s Viaan.
Samar Verani as Ehsan, Azinkya Mishra as Aarav, Preeti Amin as Dodo gave heartwarming performances.Even those acting as antagonists were fabulous at their portrayal of their dilemmas,envy and hatred.Bidisha Ghosh Sharma as Viaan’s mother Teji and his aunt Maya, played by Anjali Mukhi both played complex characters with conviction.

Some jodis come and rule hearts. #Kaviaan(Katha+Viaan) did that.They have shown a subtle and realistic romance on screen.Whether it was their first hug or Viaan reading Katha’s “badi-badi” aankhen,it was heartwarming to watch.They both nailed the portrayal of a mature couple which is a rare sight in Indian Television.

Whether it was Robin-Batman(Aarav-Viaan),Dodo- Viaan(hero) or Dodo-Katha,the bondings between the characters have been the highlight of the show.Ehsan-Viaan trust and honesty show how two best friends know how to have each other’s back.The show has shown how friendships can flourish across all age groups.Also, the bro-sis bond between Vanya and Viaan was really adorable.

The beautiful way Viaan accepted Katha along with her son despite not knowing he was his batman was a strong message to accept your partner with all the responsibilities.Further,it cemented the fact that it’s not blood but love that defines a family.Also, the message of redemption and forgiveness was beautifully shown throughout the journey.

Katha Ankahee was a beautiful television show and every television show comes to an end one day. Adnan Khan said in an interview to a portal,”I am very thankful to my lord that he gave this gift to me.” Fans of the show also had a fab time watching the show.
“Katha Ankahee to Katha Kahee” has been a journey. A journey filled with ups and downs and complex relations on one hand. On the other side, the show brought out love in its purest form- Selfless and unconditional.
The fans have lived through the characters of Katha and Viaan.With the love showered on the show, the makers should think of a new season. It will be fun to watch and a super successful one(Fans are there you know!).
